Hi, we’re the McBrayer family!
We are adoptive parents and we are looking to adopt again! If you or someone you know is interested in making an adoption plan or placing their child with us, please contact us.
We are proud adoptive parents to our 6 year old daughter and we are excited to welcome a sibling into our family!

About
We have lived in Atlanta for more than 10 years and have wonderful neighbors, caring friends, and both of our families live nearby.

What does open adoption look like to us?
Open adoption means to us that our children will never have to wonder about their birth family. We would love to meet you and learn about your hopes and dreams for your child. Our children will always know and understand who their birthparents are and know that you are very special to our family. We currently have an open adoption with our daughter’s birthmother. We let her set the pace for our relationship and we are always here when she calls. We will do the same for you if that is what you choose.
Family and friends
We come from very loving families, and our parents, siblings, extended relatives, and friends are so excited about this second journey towards adoption. They already love our daughter so much, and they are thrilled at the possibility of sharing that love with another child.
Joseph’s parents live about an hour away and frequently make the short trip over to our house. Joseph has an older sister who lives in New Jersey with her family. Our seven-year-old niece is so fun! She will love having a new cousin to play with.
Frances grew up in Alabama with her parents and her older brother. Both her parents and her brother and his family live less than three hours from us, and we see them very often. Our ten-year-old niece has the most special relationship with our Ali. We are so thankful that Ali can see her often. She is also great with all children and can’t wait for another cousin to love.
There is one more family member that we cannot forget—it’s our dog named Nalah! We rescued her from the Atlanta Human Society in 2012, and it was love at first site. She is eleven years old and is a schnauzer/poodle mix. She is so gentle with our Ali, and she loves to snuggle! We know that Nalah will love our next child too!
